About

What we believe

The beliefs are operating rules. They are how a remote company stays serious: trust people with outcomes, write a plan a sponsor can audit, put quality in the increment, and say the uncomfortable thing early.

In brief, then in detail

  • Work, not attendance. IncogX does not believe in offices as proof of effort. A remote team is trusted with the outcome. The evidence is the increment, the forecast, and the risks, not a green dot in a chat tool.
  • A plan both leaders can read. A chief executive and a chief technology officer should be able to share the same page: scope, time, cost, risk, and the next increment.
  • Quality is a habit. Review, tests, and security sit inside done. A speech about quality at the end does not replace them.
  • Honesty before signature. If the date is wrong, the design is weak, or a cheaper path exists, that is said before the proposal is signed. Four words cover the standard: responsibility, respect, fairness, and honesty.

How it is run

These rules sit beside two public bodies of practice, without borrowing their badges. Agile asks for working software, collaboration, and a response to change. Professional project practice asks for a baseline and the truth when reality moves. Lean portfolio practice asks that funding follow evidence. IncogX uses the ideas. It does not claim the credentials.

IncogX staffs engagements with PMP-certified project managers, business analysts who hold the Certified ScrumMaster credential, and ISTQB-certified testers. PMP is issued by PMI, CSM by Scrum Alliance, and ISTQB by the International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Certificate numbers are not published. Senior engineers on these teams have more than ten years in production systems.

The rules in short

  • Trust the outcome
  • Write the plan
  • Done means tested
  • Say it early
  • Change is visible
  • No borrowed badges

Terms, in plain language

  • Responsibility. Own the work and its consequences, including the consequence of a late truth.
  • Respect. Deal with the client’s people, the users, and the team as capable adults.
  • Fairness. Scope, price, and credit match the agreement. No hidden fee, no quiet scope.
  • Honesty. The status matches the software. The forecast matches the evidence.
