IT consultancy
Consultancy at IncogX is a governed decision, not a slide. A sponsor gets the problem, the options, the cost, the risk, and a recommendation the delivery team will actually stand behind.

In brief, then in detail
- Strategy. Where the product should go, what to fund first, and what to leave alone. The output is a choice, with the reason written down.
- Technology consulting. Stack, platform, and vendor options judged against the problem, the skills you already have, and the operational load you will carry.
- Digital transformation. Replacing a fragile or manual process with software the organisation can run. The change in how people work is part of the scope, not an afterthought.
- Honest scoping. If a feature is a poor investment, the date is unrealistic, or a simpler path exists, that is said before a proposal is signed.
How it is run
A consultancy engagement opens like a project should open. Stakeholders are named. The business case is written. Assumptions and constraints are listed. Qualified conversations start with a free consultation and a written proposal. An NDA is signed before project material is shared. Portfolio language is used where it helps: the work is a hypothesis with a benefit, not a promise that every idea deserves a team.

- Decision log
Terms, in plain language
- Business case. The reason to spend money: the problem, the benefit, the cost, and what happens if you do nothing.
- Stakeholder. A person who decides, pays, uses, operates, or can stop the work. Named early, not discovered in week twelve.
- Benefits hypothesis. A plain statement of the outcome you expect, and how you will know if it happened. Treated as a hypothesis, so it can be wrong.
- Guardrail. A limit agreed in advance: budget, architecture, security, or compliance. Inside the guardrail, teams move. Outside it, a sponsor decides.
